This chapter has been founded to bring about the restoration of the American Chestnut tree as a prominent part of Georgia forests by assisting the national foundation (TACF) in its propagation efforts; by promoting public awareness through education and by supporting the scientific research efforts of TACF directed at restoring American Chestnuts.
